'Noxcrew Stories/ Tales From Strangeland' - Youtube Series

I became the producer of 'Noxcrew Stories' in late 2013 and was tasked with reviving the series, giving it a new look and a new title 'Tales From Strangeland', incorporating my personal love of stories and writing with The Noxcrew's bizarre sense of humour and wit.

 

'TFS' is a community based project focused on promoting the creative and artistic talents of The Noxcrew Community, both established Crew members and fans of our games and content. Using storytelling and artwork, 'TFS' collaborates Crew and Community to create tales that everyone can enjoy. 

 

Due to University commitments, 'TFS' is currently on hiatus, but is soon to return once my degree is finished.

'The Noxcrew's Jeoffrey's Chamber Part 1 and 2' (2013)  - Minecraft Adventure Map

First created as an experiment of the 1.6 update, allowing player created audio to be played in-game through the use of resource packs, the popularity of the initial test lead to a second map and an intended third installment, to be released later this year.

 

My interest in the series stems from it's premise of the player controlled character, aka 'Jeoffrey' and his relationship with the antagonist 'The Emperor' along with the interesting worlds we are able to create.

 

Unhindered by conventional architecture and given artistic freedom by the ambiguous environment in which the series resides, I can collaborate with the team to construct abstract structures and environments, while working on the plot with the Project Lead and Voice Actor/Leader.

Projects - Online

I became part of an online gaming community called 'The Noxcrew' in June 2013, under the alias of 'Noctis_Mori'

 

The Noxcrew is a growing community, interested in creating new and exciting games and experiences within the game 'Minecraft' an open world sandbox game with massive creative potential.

 

Though I first joined the team as a builder on various projects, my enthusiasm and creative drive lead to being promoted to a producer of various Adventure Maps within the game and Video Series on our Youtube Channel.

 

My hopes are to hone my skills as a video editor so that I can help to create better, more creative content for the channel and for the community

 

 

'NoxNews' - Youtube Series
 
Created in 2014 following The Noxcrew's visit to the Multiplay Insomnia i51 event, 'NoxNews' is a fictional news show, set in the city The Noxcrew have created to house their online company 'NoxCorp', which aims to inform our community on events happening within The Noxcrew in a humorous, light-hearted manner, as opposed to update videos from our leader.
 
I decided to create the project after discussions with the community concerning using the premise in relation to another of our projects 'The Noxcrew Gameshow' and felt this would be a perfect opportunity to establish the format.
 
The project is in early stages of development, due to other commitments.
